The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) commenced on 1 January 2014. Thanks to the Medicare run schedule, eligible children can get essential dental care to the value of $1,095 over a consecutive two year period with no out-of-pocket costs to their parents or guardians. However, not every Australian child qualifies for the initiative.
