Eylul Farahani
D.D.S PhDDr Eylul Farahani studied dentistry at Yeditepe University, Faculty of Dentistry (Istanbul, Turkey) after being awarded with a scholarship from Higher Education Institution and graduated with top grade in 2004. Then, she worked in a private dental clinic, and in the public sector as a Maxillofacial Surgery registrar at Dicle University.
Dr Farahani was awarded an overseas scholarship for post-graduate education by the Turkish Ministry of National Education, and she chose to study in Australia.
She was awarded with Bela Schwartz Fellowship for 3 years during her PhD candidature in Oral Pathology at The University of Sydney. Dr Farahani achieved a PhD degree in 2012. She worked as a lecturer and honorary clinical educator for the University of Sydney Dental Faculty during and after her PhD degree for 10 years.
Dr Farahani is interested in the academic aspects of dentistry and is also a technical first-class dentist. She has a special interest in surgical extractions and dental implants.
In her free times, she loves spending time with her young family and enjoys biking.
